Hi there! My name is Lissett García Albornoz. I'm a UX Designer and Front-end Developer 👩🏻💻. I'm dedicated to designing and implementing inclusive and friendly graphic identities and digital platforms that put the rights of citizens at the center. I get involved in all stages of a project, from user research to HTML and CSS implementation.
I've been working for 8 years on projects on politics and citizen empowerment through information, methodological tools, and civic technology ✊. My projects have been implemented in Chile and various Latin American countries, as well as in European countries and the United States. I worked for almost 6 years at the latinoamerican foundation Ciudadanía Inteligente, my last position was as Design Director. Currently, I work as a Design Consultant for different NGOs.
In addition to my development as a designer, I've had the experience of facilitating workshops and schools and coordinating participatory projects in innovation laboratories such as MediaLab Prado in Spain and Laboratorio de Gobierno in Chile.
I love to read and embroider in my free time. I mainly read novels and non-fiction literature that talks about women, feminism, history, inequality, animalism, among other topics. As for embroidery, I'm especially interested in needle painting. You can see some of my embroidery work on this website.
